Summer 2022
This post is reprinted here, from new posts at POEMS FROM PSALMS AND NATURE.
July is when our daylilies bloom. Old perennial plants that are new every year. There are so many good books to read. I look at the perennials and think about what lasts and blesses readers over time.
I appreciate book reviews and am reading from a few books I learned about from Time of Singing poetry journal.
We also enjoy donating poetry journals and books to thrift stores. Perhaps someone may discover poetry and write a poem!
My Summer Reading Plan this year is to read from my small home library. Then in the Fall I will look at some new books as well. And of course my plan can be adjusted – just a way to think about summer this year.
