Creative Notes and Archives

Some quiet time to read and reflect. I was thinking about what to post here for Holy Week this year, and then wondered when we began Easter And Spring Poetry.

The first post was in March 2014, and now it is the last week in March 2021. I am grateful and plan to continue, by God’s grace.

Thought I’d review and share a few Bible verses and poems, here and there, in different posts.

Blessed are the meek:
for they shall inherit
the earth.

Matthew 5: 5 (KJV)

skeins of geese flying
to our neighbor Canada
a brand new chapter . . .
books arriving in the mail
songs of beauty and courage

Published in Bell’s Letters Poet (2011).

And books are arriving in the mail this week. I love to read and learn.

tree branches
bowed to the ground
seemingly half-broken
covered with new leaves
my notebook of prayers
