Short Poems About the Psalms

reading Psalms
in the sunroom
fragrance of daffodils

birds sing
outside the window
as we join with many
who pray the Psalms
this Mystery

sunlight in my study
praying the Psalms
on a Sunday afternoon

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119: 105 (KJV)

The LORD hear thee

The LORD hear thee
in the day
of trouble . . .

Grant thee
according to
thine own heart,

and fulfill all
thy counsel.

Psalm 20: 1a, 4 (KJV)
