March 2023

My post today is created from recent posts at POEMS FROM OOSTBURG, WISCONSIN.

garden trees
now in light
spring sunrise

last days of March
snowdrops and snow
in morning sun

they know our seasons
in Wisconsin well
robins and snowdrops

spring day
snowdrops in the gardens
asparagus for lunch

Short Poems

This sequence of poems is from March 2019 posts at Poems From Oostburg, Wisconsin.

I created this one post today for Easter And Spring Poetry. Thank you.

night March sky
snow rests
on evergreen
branches

Monday afternoon
in March
sun fills a bookcase
from my father

near the garage
on a cold March day
bird songs

soon the garden
will begin in small ways
snowdrops

frozen raindrops
on birch tree branches
March Sunday

early Spring
in the yard
near the house
daylilies begin
to grow

Saturday afternoon
clouds, sun, and wind chimes
along the trail

we hold the door

we hold the door
for older people
memories of Mom

a book on a shelf
I read to my mother
when she was old
that she gave to me
when young

Gentle spring winds
in evergreen trees
the friendship we grew
